"The eye never forgets what the heart has seen." —BANTU Fragments of various performances by our Mime Art Theatre are still alive and clear in my imagination. It was these unforgettable images that inspired the creation of the premiere of "Memory Oblivion Creation." The excellent music, most of which was created especially for our performances, will also feature in the current premiere. In our Mime Art Theatre, I call the mime actor the Actor of Silence–Creator, because he consciously renounces words in order to reach the very essence of what is so difficult to express through them. Changing thoughts, emotional experiences, and inner attitudes are reflected in the artist's body as if in a mirror. He himself becomes an instrument of dramatic expression in order to reflect universal truth. It is a grand and significant moment when artists in the theatre, stepping onto the stage, enter the temple of art hidden within them. As silent actors, they must now become creators, but also become the work they create. The experiences and sensations of an artist who tries to show us an image from invisible spaces are incomprehensible. Finding such an image within oneself and bringing it out from the depths is a desire to express the most secret truth existing in human consciousness. If we say that our Mime Art Theatre is a theatre of movement, we must remember that this movement is no longer just movement, but a visible transformation of thoughts and emotional experiences. Our performance, "Memory Oblivion Creation", consists of five different images, each showing in a different way the human being and his inner world—invisible on a daily basis, but so important in human life. This world is hidden in the silence of the human soul. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Anita Zdrojewska, president of the POMPKA Foundation and creator of BUTOHSFERA, for giving me the opportunity to present this premiere, which is so important to me. As I turn 80 this year, it is a great honor and pleasure to perform with my team in this unique place that is BUTOHSFERA. I would also like to thank Joanna Nawrocka, director of the Ochota Theater, for repeatedly creating the conditions for me to prepare premieres. Stefan Niedziałkowski
